Browning Model 1910 Serial Numbers

The FN Model 1910 was a blowback-operated, semi-automatic pistol designed by the infamous John Browning in 1910 and manufactured by Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Belgium for over 7 decades. As a result of Colt Manufacturing Company not wanting to produce this handgun model, Browning took the blueprints to Europe to get the design patented and produced. The Model 1910 was developed around two rounds, the 7.65x17mm Browning (.32ACP) and 9x17mm Browning (.380ACP), each of which were designed by Browning. The Browning 1910 found immense popularity across Europe during World War II among police/military units as well as civilians, as a robust self-defense gun. The Browning 1910 is also world-renowned for being the firearm used by Gavrilo Princip to assassinate the Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo during 1914, provoking the onset of World War I.
